Finding Your Power

About Me

Finding Your Power

Life as a busy parent can feel overwhelming. Between running kids to school and soothing colds throughout the night, it can be hard to focus on yourself and find your inner power to move forward. A few years ago, I started feeling beaten-down and depressed. To work out my problems, I decided to try counseling. I was absolutely amazed with the difference it made in my life. After I had the opportunity to talk with someone, I learned ways to cope with my daily routine. The goal of my website is to help other people to understand that there is a great life out there, and that counseling can help you to find your way.

Three Payment Options For Attending Recovery Centers

If you suffer from an addiction, whether that addiction is drugs or alcohol, attending a recovery center is something that you want to consider, not only for yourself, but for the loved ones you have in your life. However, many people are hesitant to consider recovery centers because they believe they are too expensive. Here are three payment options that can be available to you that can make attending a recovery center more affordable:

Health Insurance:

Sometimes, your health insurance provider will cover some or all of the costs of attending a recovery center. You will want to check with your health insurance agent to see if coverage is available and then you will want to call different recovery centers to see which ones will accept your insurance. In some cases, there may be a copay, but this is usually an affordable copay. If the copay is too expensive for you, then you may need to consider other options or find a way to fund that copay.

State Funding:

If your health insurance has a copay that is too high and you have no way to fund it either from having friends or family help or other charities, then you may consider state funding. In order to apply for state funding, you will want to call different recovery centers who can take your information and see if you qualify. If you do qualify, you will receive a specific amount in grants that will help you to stay in a recovery center for a certain amount of time, usually the right amount of time needed based upon the specifics of your addiction.

Payment Plans:

If your health insurance will not cover or you cannot afford the copay and you do not qualify for any state funding, then your next and final option would be to set up a payment plan. Most recovery centers will help set one up for you since they will want your business. This is a great way to be able to receive the treatment that you need without having to come up with the money up front. Instead, you can pay a reasonable amount that you can afford every month until the full payment has been paid for.

By knowing some payment options (find out here) that you have for attending a recovery center, you can be sure that you are utilizing your resources in the best way possible in order to receive the treatment that you need.
